Davis Residence
I was able to work with a client to create a proposed design for a home overlooking a forested area near SIU. The work included plant selection for several unique conditions. In particular the home sits on a rock ledge and child safety was a concern so razor grass and other thorny species were used as deterrents.
Labyrinth
There is a labyrinth across the street from our school that has a historic meaning to the area. Our task was to design the space around numerous concerns including: adjacency to a highway, proximity to a parking lot, and public safety particularly at night and when plants would be in bloom.
